Plan of Salvation
The path you have chosen this day is a path that all of us in this room have traveled at some point in our lives. We are here to help you begin your journey with God the Father and Christ Jesus, His only begotten son. First of all, God loves you. As a matter of fact the bible tells us in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
What this means is that Jesus Christ has already died for your sins and my sins. Imagine for a moment that your best friend realizes that someone is about to shoot you and your best friend steps in front of the bullet to prevent you from being killed. This is what Jesus did, He gave His life for you and me. Next, realize that all of us have sinned and missed the mark however God has forgiven us for our sins, You see, the bible tells us Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" and Romans 5:8 lets us known that even while we were still sinners, Christ died for us, proving just how much God loves you and me.
Romans 6:23 shows us that "The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Jesus Christ death on the cross was the price paid for our sins. What God asks us to do is to confess our sins to Him, because in 1 John 1:9 the Bible tells us that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Finally, the Bible instructs us in Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Dear God,
I confess to you that I am a sinner and that I have come short of your glory . Father, I repent of my sins and ask you for forgiveness. God, I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my life. God, I believe that you sent your only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, to this earth as a man, in the flesh, to suffer and die for my sins. I believe Dear God, that He was crucified on a cross and that three days after His death, He was raised from the dead by your mighty power, and is alive right now, sitting on your right hand side in glory and power. From this moment until forever, God, I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit, lead me, guide me and be the Lord of my life. Thank you God for saving me and writing my name in the Lamb's book of Life.
